LRPN welcomes physiatrist Dr. Mothkur to area

La Porte Regional Physician Network (LRPN) welcomes Swathi Mothkur, MD, to the area to accept new patients.

Mothkur, a physiatrist, specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation, which includes the diagnosis and nonsurgical treatment of the spine and musculoskeletal disorders. She works with patients to restore maximum function that has been lost through injury, illness or disabling conditions.

Services include:
   • Diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders and disabling conditions
   • Prescription of mobility aides and durable medical equipment
   • Independent medical examinations
   • Trigger point and peripheral joint injections
   • Electrodiagnostic testing

Mothkur is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She received her medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine and completed her residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Loyola University Medical Center, Illinois.
