OB/GYN relocates La Porte practice, continues Michigan City practice

Julius Ellis, MD, has relocated his La Porte practice to Legacy Building, 1300 State St., Ste. 1B.

Ellis’ La Porte hours are Wednesdays from 2 to 6 p.m. and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. To schedule an appointment, call (219) 326-5700.

Ellis previously cared for patients at his former La Porte practice, located at Heritage Place. Ellis will no longer see patients at that location, but will transfer patients to the new location.

Ellis also sees patients in Michigan City, 601 Kieffer Rd. His Michigan City hours are Mondays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. To schedule an appointment, call (219) 879-6262 or toll free (800) 435-0388.

A Diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Gynecology, Ellis attended Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago. He completed his residency at Tripler Army Medical Center, receiving his advanced training and certification in minimally invasive surgery and advanced laparoscopic surgery. Ellis performs both office-based and minimally invasive outpatient surgeries.

Ellis is a member of La Porte Regional Physician Network (LRPN) — a network of physicians providing services in office locations throughout La Porte, Starke, St. Joseph and Porter counties. LRPN specialties include cardiology, family care, internal medicine, women’s health care, neurosurgery, orthopaedics and pediatrics. LRPN partners with La Porte Regional Health System, benefiting patients through usage of La Porte Hospital’s facility, technology and Clarian Health partnership.
