Dr. Basher joins La Porte Regional Physician Network, accepting new patients

Abul Basher, MD, FACC, recently became a member of La Porte Regional Physician Network, and has returned to the area to accept new patients at his New Carlisle practice.

Basher, an invasive cardiologist, sees patients at La Porte Cardiology located at New Carlisle Family Medicine, 8988 E. U.S. Hwy. 20. He provides prevention, treatment and management of heart and vascular disease, and specializes in echocardiograms, stress tests and cardiac catheterization procedures.

Basher received his medical degree from the University of Madras, India. He completed a fellowship in Cardiology at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center, N.Y., and a fellowship in Nuclear Cardiology and Echocardiography at Deborah Heart and Lung Center, N.J. Basher is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Disease.

La Porte Regional Physician Network (LRPN) is a network of physicians providing services in office locations throughout La Porte, Starke, St. Joseph and Porter counties.
